Larry Kraft - iMatter Executive Director & Chief Mentor
In 2013, Larry left a successful high-tech career to learn firsthand about global environmental issues with his family on a yearlong, six-continent, 17-country environmentally focused trip. He and his wife simultaneously educated their two children and provided weekly educational content to The Wilderness Classroom, a Minnesota-based environmental education non-profit. During this trip, and from contacts made as a result of it, Larry connected with iMatter. He’s been iMatter’s Executive Director since October of 2014.

iMatter was founded by a 13-year old in 2007, and is dedicated to inspiring and mentoring young people to discover and use their power to make meaningful impact toward ending the climate crisis. iMatter's is currently focused on working with young people to drive and shape aggressive climate action in their cities.

Larry has twenty-five years of high-tech background, with experience in all size organizations, from startups to multi-billion dollar companies. He was most recently Senior VP of Sales & Marketing for Minneapolis-based Digi International.
