Tim Anderson joined Edina Public Schools in 2016. Prior to that, Anderson led the Teaching and Learning Department in Bloomington Schools as Executive Director and was previously an administrator at Bloomington Jefferson High School. Anderson began his career as a social studies teacher in Eden Prairie.

Anderson earned his bachelor’s degree in social science education from St. Olaf College. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota where he earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and a doctorate in educational policy, administration and organizational leadership. Anderson has been a frequent presenter and lecturer at professional education conferences, workshops and educational graduate programs.

Tim has two children who attend Edina Public Schools and his wife, Christi, is a Faculty member in the Physical Therapy department at St. Catherine’s University.
