I am looking for a few volunteers to assist with the sales and distribution of hats and mittens this year. Again we are looking to work with the Rotaract Club of Edina, so we will have some youth on the committee for the "heavy lifting." I am anticipating either October 14th or October 21st as the distribution date and am awaiting a confirmation from our supplier that he will have sufficient stock to supply a record number of hats and gloves this year.
As you consider the request to join the committee, I'd also request that you think of groups outside of Rotary that may be interested in participating with the purchasing of hats & gloves for distributing to their organizations (think local religious organizations, corporations, other non-profits, book clubs, yoga classes ... ok you get the idea).
