Edina Public School is seeking Mentors to work with young Scientists who are developing experiments for the Space Station. Edina is entering year two of our Student Spaceflight Experiment Program. To participate, students in grades 5-12 design an experiment to test the effect of microgravity on a physical, chemical or biological system. Mentors help guide kids in their thinking about what would make a well controlled experiment design. Although science and engineering background are helpful, it is really about asking questions and helping kids refine their thinking.

Rotary strives for the fair treatment and advancement of all Rotary participants. Embracing equity means carefully considering how to provide differing levels of support, opportunities, and resources so participants have a welcoming and productive experience.
When we embrace equity, we create an environment built on respect and dignity for all participants.
Watch for more to come in the coming weeks on this topic!
