Tuesday, July 18th: 7:30 a.m., at Edina Country Club David Alkire, Chair of the Cahill District Area Plan Working Group, will speak. This group was appointed by the Edina Planning Commission in early 2022, and has been working to create a vision for the future of the Cahill District. David and his family moved to Edina in 2004, and he has been involved in the community ever since. In 2018, David retired from The Toro Company where he served as Vice President of the Residential and Landscape Contractor Businesses. He has served as a Head Election Judge in two Edina precincts, worked on the Fourth of July Parade Committee, and was a member of the Edina Street Funding Task Force and the Edina Planning Commission. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Edina Community Foundation, and drives a school bus for Edina Public Schools. There will be no remote access via Zoom for this meeting. |
