From our Golf Tournament Chair: I want to first start off by thanking all of you for supporting this event. It is our largest fundraiser of the year and we could not pull this off without all of you, the golfers, and our sponsors. We had 76 people golfing this year and it was a great day. All of the money raised for this tournament goes straight back out into our local communities and internationally through our Grant process that happens every fall. This is who received grants from us last year: VEAP, A Better Chance, Edina Give & Go, My Very Own Bed, Treehouse, Matter, Edina Community Foundation, Help At Your Door, Bridging, Youth Frontiers, Edina Education Fund, & Bluebirds & Blooms. We also gave out international grants helping people in Honduras, Zimbabwe, and Ukraine. I do my best to keep our expenses to a minimum so we can make the most of the money raised. Our only expenses are paying for the golf, lunch, and a few signs for new sponsors. It looks like we will clear just over $26,000.00 this year. We also had great participation in our service project. We moved it outside this year to make it more visible and easier to join. We will continue this in our future tournaments.
