Our speaker will be basketball consultant Jay Pivec.
In Jay's words ... "So far, I’ve had a long and tremendously rewarding career coaching college basketball, at the NAIA, NCAA Division I, II, III and NJCAA levels. My overall win/loss record head coaching 30 seasons is 605-258. I’ve been revered by my colleagues as “Coach of the Year,” numerous times, and was inducted into the NJCAA Basketball Hall of Fame, in 2010.
I strongly believe in the concept of the coach as an educator. My passion for teaching in the classroom, especially emergency medical response, as a PE/Health Instructor, and coach, is my attempt at offering student athletes a setting where their educational, cultural, and physical needs can be fostered and enabled them to maximize their full potential.
