Data from McKinsey & Co suggests a hunger crisis unlike anything seen since the Great Depression. The hunger crisis is already underway in Minnesota. Before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, 1 in 11 Minnesotans struggled to afford food. 1 in 8 Minnesotans now face hunger.
Food shelves and food banks across Minnesota are expecting a 65 percent increase in demand through the remainder of 2020 and into 2021 as a result of challenging economic conditions tied to COVID-19.
You can bring items to the Edina Country Club at Tuesday's meeting or you can drop nonperishable off on the front porches of the following homes by Friday 11/20 please!
